Description

OpenBridge Designer is the name of a program that includes engineering and design of the bridge. The combination of the Bentley Bridge software creates a new edition of OpenBridge Designer CONNECT Edition. In fact, with unique capabilities, modeling, OpenBridge Modeler and analysis and design capabilities of LEAP Bridge Concrete, LEAP Bridge Steel, RM Bridge, RM Bridge Advanced and RM Bridge Enterprise for the right design and construction needs of all types of poly, the program is formed. With OpenBridge Designer you benefit from the benefits of a complete package of arrangements, right through to the completion of each project, designing the bridge for you. You can only use one product to create an analytical model and a physical model side by side for both types of bridges, steel and concrete, used throughout the life of the bridge. The Bridge Information Modeling (BrIM) program is an advanced method for the design industry and is used in the construction of the bridge.

Internet:

An internet connection is required to install the product. The installer attempts to automatically detect your computer’s proxy settings in Internet Explorer. If necessary, the installer displays a dialog for entering a username and password. If you don’t have an internet connection, you can create a deployment image of the product and install it.

Software requirement

Bentley Desktop Application prerequisites are automatically downloaded and installed on your workstation as you install ProStructures. Bentley Desktop Application prerequisites include:

Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications localized
Microsoft, Internet Explorer, at least version 11.0, with 128-bit encryption strength. Microsoft no longer supports versions prior to v11.0. Internet Explorer is not part of the product requirements.

Minimum profile

Processor: Intel® or AMD® processor, 2.0 GHz or higher. OpenBridge Modeler is not supported on a CPU that does not support SSE2.

Memory: 8GB minimum, 32GB recommended. More memory almost always improves performance, especially when working with larger models.

Hard Drive: 20 GB of free hard drive space (including the installation requirement of 12 GB for a full installation)

Video: For current information about DirectX drivers, contact the graphics card manufacturer. 1GB of video RAM or more is recommended. If there is not enough video RAM or no DirectX supported graphics card, OpenBridge Modeler attempts to use software emulation. For optimal performance, the graphics display color depth should be set to 24 bit or higher. There are some inconsistencies when using a 16-bit color depth setting.
